The State Reserves Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been awarded certificates of conformity in 3 areas of "State Reserve Creation and Management" field by the Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization. The certificates confirm compliance with the AZS ISO 9001:2020 (quality management), AZS ISO 45001:2021 (occupational health and safety), and AZS ISO 14001:2021 (environmental management) standards.
On this occasion, a presentation ceremony was held with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Agency, Zaur Alakbarov, the leadership of the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute, and relevant representatives of the Agency. During the event, the respective certificates were presented, and several employees were awarded letters of appreciation.
In his speech at the event, Deputy Chairman of the Board Zaur Alakbarov, stated: "The acquisition of these certificates is yet another example of the continuous application of international best practices and systematic management approaches in the Agency activities. In the future, we will continue to expand our activities in this direction and further implement progressive methodologies."
It should be noted that the main purpose of obtaining certifications complying with international standards is to ensure the reliable, efficient, and high-quality management of state reserves, as well as to establish mechanisms for transparency and sustainable development in this field.
