Sabuhi Ahad oglu Sadigov

Chairman of the Management Board

Born on June 22, 1984, in the city of Fuzuli.

From 2001 to 2005, he studied Finance and Credit at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, earning a bachelor’s degree.

In 2007, he obtained a master’s degree and graduated with honors.

In 2014, he was awarded the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license by the Board of Public Accountants of the State of New Hampshire, USA.

He began his professional career in the insurance sector in 2005. From 2007 to 2018, he held various positions at one of the “Big Four” international audit firms operating in the Republic of Azerbaijan. From 2018 to 2021, he served in a senior management position at one of the holdings in the private sector.

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 27, 2021, he was appointed Chairman of the Management Board of the State Reserves Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

He is married and has two children.

Zaur Ilham oglu Abishev

Deputy Chairman of the Management Board

Born on January 4, 1984, in Baku.

From 2000 to 2004, he studied International Economic Relations at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics and earned a bachelor’s degree.

From 2006 to 2008, he pursued a master’s degree in Project Management through a joint program between the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy and Georgia State University (USA).

In 2014, he was awarded the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license by the Board of Public Accountants of the State of Alaska, USA.

He began his professional career in 2006. From 2007 to 2018, he held various positions at one of the Big Four international audit firms operating in the Republic of Azerbaijan, and from 2018 to 2022, he served as Finance Director and Member of the Management Board at one of the country’s major agricultural companies.

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated March 5, 2022, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the State Reserves Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

He is married and has two children.

Zaur Avaz oglu Alekbarov

Deputy Chairman of the Management Board

Born on August 23, 1986, in Baku.

In 2006, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of International Economic Relations of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics with a bachelor’s degree.

From 2006 to 2008, he completed his master’s studies at the same university with honors.

In 2017, he obtained an MBA degree in business management from the IMD Business School in Switzerland.

In 2020, he completed a program in public administration at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and was awarded the corresponding certificate.

He began his professional career in 2004 at Unibank. From 2009 to 2015, he held various managerial positions, including branch director, at Bank Respublika.

Since 2016, he has served as Deputy Director of the Corporate Business Department at the International Bank of Azerbaijan and from 2018 to 2024 as Advisor to the Chairman of the Management Board on Strategy and Innovation.

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 28, 2024, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the State Reserves Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
